Finding the right doctor shouldn’t feel like a chore. Since Better Health Plan gives you access to Cigna’s major provider networks , we’ve put together this quick, step-by-step guide to help you find an in-network doctor, dentist, or facility with ease.
Following these specific steps ensures you are viewing providers who accept your plan, helping you maximize your benefits and keep your out-of-pocket costs low.
Step 1: Start Your Search
Go to Cigna.com and click on "Find a Doctor, Dentist, or Facility" located at the top of the homepage.
Step 2: Enter Your Location
In the search bar, input your city and state or your zip code to find care close to home.
Step 3: Choose How You Are Covered
When prompted with the question "How are you Covered?", select the "Employer or School" option.
Step 4: Continue as a Guest
On the login page, you do not need to sign in to browse. Look for the "Not a customer?" or "Shopping for a new plan?" section and select "Continue as guest".
Step 5: Confirm Your Location
The system will display a "Please Select a Plan" screen. Verify that your location is correct, and then click "Continue".
Step 6: Select the Correct Network Plan
This is the most important step to ensure accuracy! Scroll down to the PPO section and select "PPO, Choice Fund PPO".
Step 7: Find Your Provider
Now you are ready to search! You can browse by "Doctor by Type" (like a Primary Care Provider), search directly by "Doctor by Name", or look up specific "Health Facilities".
